We are very sorry if you have a complaint or concern relating to one of our churches, staff, elders, volunteers or trustees and we would like to help.
Across our charity and churches, we encourage a culture of respect, honesty and openness. Our churches, staff, elders, volunteers and trustees strive to care for individuals and to serve everybody – without discrimination – in a way that will please and honour our Lord Jesus. However, we may sometimes make mistakes, and we realise that may be painful for those affected.
Where possible, if you have any concerns or complaints about any member of staff, an elder, volunteer or trustee, please will you let them know? They would love the opportunity to discuss those concerns, to learn from any mistakes made and where appropriate, to apologise and preserve the unity of God’s people. If you still have concerns or feel unable to approach the person direct, please will you, as the Bible encourages us to do, arrange to meet in confidence with a couple of the elders from the church involved and provide them with the opportunity to address your concerns and to help and support you. We hope that, in the vast majority of situations, concerns will be fully resolved by this stage.
However, where concerns are not dealt with satisfactorily by the local church, or are of such a serious nature that further contact with those involved would be inappropriate or potentially harmful, please read our Complaints Policy below and report to us in confidence by using the form below.
